What I Create
As an artist, I am drawn to questioning the limits of photography as a representational medium. My practice moves beyond depiction, embracing ambiguity and plurality of interpretation. Through abstraction and acts of reorientation, the work seeks not to describe reality, but to reframe it—inviting viewers to encounter new meanings through perception rather than recognition.
Abstract Work
My artistic journey began nearly fifteen years ago, rooted in an intuitive engagement with abstraction found in the most unexpected places. I have long been drawn to the quiet enigma of the ordinary—moments and surfaces often overlooked—where subtle shifts of light, form, and perspective reveal something quietly extraordinary. This sustained curiosity continues to shape my practice, transforming everyday encounters into sites of contemplation and visual discovery.
Fine Art Photography
Rooted in an early engagement with painting and drawing, my photographic practice carries forward the sensibilities of the hand into the language of the camera. The work deliberately inhabits the space between fine art and photography, where image-making becomes less about medium and more about perception—inviting viewers to pause, question, and reconsider the boundaries between the two.
A Few Gems
Shaped through years of practice, reflection, and resilience, these selected milestones represent meaningful moments of recognition within my artistic journey—works and acknowledgements that I value as affirmations of an evolving practice rather than its destination.
Global Exhibitions
Selected works from this practice have been exhibited at art galleries major cities of India, with occasional presentations in London and Budapest.
International Awards
My work has received recognition at both national and international levels, including a Gold Award at the Budapest International Foto Awards (2025), as well as honorary mentions from the Photography Society of Singapore (PSS) and PISPA.
Chief-Editor, Zyne
In August 2025, I founded an international magazine dedicated to photography and fine art, as a response to the changing—and often diminishing—space for thoughtful, print-led discourse. From conception to realization, Zyne represents a long-held vision brought into practice, shaped by editorial intent rather than algorithmic responsiveness.
Founder, Zyne Awards
I co-founded the international, juried Zyne Awards, established in collaboration with a fellow internationally practicing photographer. Conceived as a curatorial platform, the awards aim to recognize and support strong photographic work across both emerging and established practices, fostering meaningful global visibility rather than competitive spectacle.
